Region 9’s second year building construction students built cabinets for the Rumford Information Booth. This was a community service project supervised by Cliff Thurston under the direction of Lloyd Williams, Region 9 building construction instructor. Last spring Ron Russell, volunteer for the Rumford Information Booth, contacted Lloyd Williams, and communicated the needs of the organization. The project worked into the cabinet making unit of the curriculum. Ron Russell said the students did a beautiful job and he is very pleased with their work. The Rumford Information Booth opens for the season on April 5th.
